Behind Basecamps is a deep love for travel, people, and meaningful experiences. After traveling to 34 countries and meeting thousands of travelers from all corners of the world, owner Leslie felt a natural shift - from being the traveler herself to becoming the kind of host every traveler hopes to find.

Along the way, it was the small details that made destinations feel like home: a warm welcome, thoughtful spaces, and hosts who genuinely cared about the experience they were creating. Those moments stayed with her and became the foundation for Colorado Basecamps.

Today, that philosophy lives here. From our yurts and riverside cabins to our luxury design chalets, every stay is designed with intention - cozy, welcoming, and grounded in nature. Breakfast is included, mornings are unhurried, and the surrounding landscape invites you to explore freely.
